About the opportunity

We have an opportunity for an experienced People & Culture Business Partner to join our People & Culture team. This is an ongoing part time position, 0.6 FTE with flexibility on days worked, Geelong based with hybrid working.

You will partner with leaders and employees across a portfolio of teams, delivering people-focussed solutions, and fostering an environment of inclusion and growth.   Spanning all traditional People and Culture areas of impact, this role is busy and dynamic, and involves relationships across operational and corporate services teams within GMHBA.

About you

Our ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience, however we would love to hear from people who feel they would be a great fit but may not tick all of the boxes:

  • Five years’ experience in a People advisory role: specifically, where leadership coaching and employee relations case management were integral deliverables.
  • Formal qualifications in HR:  these are important, but equally important is a demonstrated ability to apply a contemporary, evidence-based approach to employee experience and solutions.
  • Relationship building: this is one of the capabilities that matter most for this role.  Being able to demonstrate well-developed skills in this area and in confidently advising and coaching others is critical.
  • A purposeful and agile working style:  this is a busy role with constant context switching.
  • An ability to work comfortably in a state of ambiguity.
